What You'll Be DoingJob Scope: Generally responsible for performing all aspects of project management for moderately complex engineering project assignments ensuring total delivery of the services on time, within performance budget and quality expectations. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage assigned engineering contracts ensuring compliance with the facility, corporate, CFS and DOE objectives, requirements, and standards in terms of EHS, quality, cost, and schedule.
Coordination between assigned project contracts with contracts led by other team members to ensure consistency and integration.
Technical review of submitted engineering deliverables for accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, and alignment with industry best practice
Development of project documentation including specifications, assessments, and reports
Assist project manager with project team oversight, administration, and coaching
Ideal BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 5+ years in a casting environment, required
Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively within a multi-national hybrid team environment, required
Demonstrated knowledge of vertical, direct-chill casting equipment and processes, preferred
Effective communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences, required
Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, required
Professional writing experience, preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
