Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the design and launch of new products, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines. This role involves close collaboration with product designers, engineers, manufacturing teams, marketing, and other stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesManage new product design and launch projects to align with strategic objectives and timelines.Work closely with product designers, engineers, manufacturing, marketing, and other stakeholders.Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.Create and maintain detailed project schedules.Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and solutions.Collaborate with marketing and research teams to conduct market analysis and ensure product designs meet consumer needs and preferences.Plan and execute product launch strategies, including marketing campaigns, distribution plans, and customer support initiatives.Provide hands-on support focusing on execution of supply chain, quality, assembly, testing, installation, and sales support.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in engineering.5+ years of experience in project management in a manufactruing settingStrong understanding of product design processes and methodologies.Proficiency in project management software and tools including MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira.Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.Experience in the automation/machining industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsProject management in new product development and phase/gate launch projects.Project Management Professional Certification.Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position within a large manufacturing facility equipped with automated equipment. The environment is clean and connected to an updated office space. Expectation of travel is 20%.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $53.00/hr.
