Job Description

The Project Manager oversees and manages one or more projects/programs within a Power Delivery Customer Project team. This role is accountable for overall project/program performance, including all project processes and knowledge areas. Projects typically involve customer development initiatives such as new subdivisions and apartment blocks, with budgets ranging from $200K to $2MM. The Project Manager is expected to manage up to 20 projects simultaneously.

ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage medium complexity projects/programs within the Power Delivery Customer Project team.Ensure project/program performance aligns with established processes and knowledge areas.Handle customer development projects, including new subdivisions and apartment blocks.Manage project budgets ranging from $200K to $2MM.Simultaneously manage up to 20 projects.Coordinate with vendors and maintain client relationships.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in distribution design, construction, or engineering.Electrical knowledge as an electrical technician, electrician, or electrical engineer.Experience in project management or project coordination with distribution experience.PMP designation.Strong communication skills for client-facing and vendor management roles.Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Maximo is a plus.Work Environment

This position operates out of the Calgary office and involves collaboration with a team of 20 other Project Managers. The role ensures a consistent workload of at least 40 hours per week, offering long-term contract opportunities. Employees can apply for full-time positions while on contract, enhancing their chances of direct employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
