The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of streetcar track operations, including inspection, maintenance, and repair. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and budgetary constraints. Key Responsibilities: This person will be responsible for managing the entire track operation, which includes but is not limited to track inspection and repairs, replacing rails, ties, switches, and ballast in compliance with the agreement terms and conditions, applicable regulations, Client standards, FRA, and budgets. Manage daily operations of streetcar track systems, including inspections, repairs, and replacements (rails, ties, switches, ballast)Ensure compliance with FRA regulations, client standards, and contract termsProvide strategic directions for staff and subcontractorsServe as primary liaison with federal, state, and city oversight authoritiesOversee contract compliance and performance metricsParticipate in scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluationsMonitor and manage project budgets and cost controlsNavigate labor relations and maintain effective union partnershipsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Railroad Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of federal and state employment lawsExperience working with government agencies and regulatory bodiesProven ability to manage budgets and control costsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with union environments and labor relationsFlexibility to work varied schedules as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods (6–8 hours/day)Frequent walking on uneven or sloped surfacesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistanceOccasional bending, kneeling, or crouching Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
