Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives within the hospitality industry. This long-term contract position is based in Glendale, California, and requires someone with a proven ability to lead projects involving construction and real estate. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Oversee initiatives related to construction and real estate, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify project requirements and resolve challenges.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate regular progress updates and communication to ensure stakeholders are informed.
• Apply formal project management techniques and methodologies, including Agile Scrum, to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure risk management strategies are implemented to mitigate potential project delays or issues.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate project performance and implement improvements.
• Travel occasionally to project sites or meetings as required.
• Support organizational objectives by driving successful project delivery and continuous improvement. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including leading cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing construction and real estate-related initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees such as an MBA are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of formal project management methodologies, including Agile Scrum.
• PMP Certification or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and manage diverse teams.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support project requirements.
