Provides high level technical and analytical expertise for solving chronic issues and overcoming significant technological hurdles. Identifies and drives step change improvements for cost, quality, and capacity. Extends basic process technology / fundamental understanding in support of unit/division business needs. Develops and implement new enabling processes/ technologies to support unit or division priorities. Technology gatekeeper - monitors, communicates, and sanctions best practices and consistent application of technology + Provides high level problem solving capabilities + Coach/mentor/develop junior/mid level engineers + Develop and protect fundamental knowledge and IP + Manage and motivate diverse project teams + Develop and deliver robust, capable materials, processes and equipment - implements needed step change improvements + Develop and leads several areas of the manufacturing and/or technology roadmap.
