Project Manager

Based in Cluj-Napoca, as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex, multi-discipline projects within the Emerson PMO framework and local regulations. Your mission is to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the full satisfaction of our customers. This role demands a strong technical expertise, discernment in business, leadership qualities, and an entrepreneurial attitude.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Serve as the liaison for internal customers on commercial and scheduling matters. Drive project execution and take ownership of project delivery from initiation to close. Develop and manage detailed project execution plans aligned with business objectives. Lead all key project meetings: proposal handover, kick-off, status/review meetings, and customer interactions. Maintain and report accurate project forecasts, with no more than 2% variance month-over-month. Manage project timeline and landmark tracking using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Ensure financial health of projects, monitoring budgets, gross profit, ETCs, and EACs against targets. Oversee change management processes internally and externally, ensuring proper approvals. Inspire and lead the project team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth. Identify project risks and opportunities and lead mitigation planning. Ensure alignment and communication across teams including Quality, Operations, and Finance. Issue monthly progress reports as per PMO standards. Present project performance at both local and global levels. Uphold health & safety practices aligned with company policies. Engage in ongoing professional development and certifications. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Support internal and external audit processes as needed. Lead internal strategic projects, such as the implementation of Mobile Calibration Trailers and development of specialized tools for Lifecycle Service, ensuring they meet operational and service delivery goals.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects. Strong understanding of project frameworks and business processes, including trade compliance. Experience managing geographically distributed teams. PMI or PMP certification is a strong plus.
