You Are:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the creation, implementation, reporting and communication of project plans delivering the on-time product launch via leadership of cross-functional teams. Will be accountable for ensuring plans and deliverables are compliant and risks are identified and managed.

 

The opportunity:

·       Working with stakeholders to own the development of the business case, project plans, and project risk analysis for all projects. One will be responsible for learning all associated processes, reporting tools, and communication requirements.

·       In this role, the candidate will have to develop project plan(s) using MS Project tools or order similar tools to demonstrate the entire project duration as well as track each project stage gates accordingly.

·       This individual will be responsible for communication of business case, project charter, project status, and scorecards to all project stakeholders. Communication includes project meeting minutes, post-introduction reports, budgets (as appropriate) and any status or project detail information needed.

·       Responsible for defining key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks and work with cross functional teams and leadership as required to address. 

·       Lead contact for all internal stakeholders (R&D/Tech Services, QA, Regulatory, Marketing, Contract Manufacturing, Suppliers, Finance, Procurement, Packaging, Planning, IT, Distribution, etc) as well as senior leadership regarding project activities and status. 

·       Responsible for creation and approval of business case and project budget (as appropriate). 

·       Be a liaison with group manager or stakeholder managers as needed to ensure project goals are achieved. 

·       Responsible for working with project team to identify and address critical path or road block issues and addressing correction of root cause. 

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Must have Cosmetic Consumer Product, Personal Care, or Pharmaceutical Project Management experience

·       Must have direct experience leading New Product Introduction launches of cosmetic or personal care industry.

·       Preferred Understanding / Experience leading project teams through: Cosmetics Tech Transfer, Change Control process, new product introductions, product reformulations, packaging changes

·       Robust business acumen and track record of delivering superior results.

·       Experienced in excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills delivered with high confidence/command in using spreadsheets, scorecards, presentations in a clear/concise manner that are delivered to senior leadership as well as cross functional teams and external suppliers.  

·       Experience in the following project management knowledge areas: effective collaboration, integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resourcing, communication, risk and procurement all while working well with team members 

·       Exceptional leadership skills 

·       Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Project, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint) is required.

 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: New Jersey

Compensation Range: $102,000-$153,000

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
