Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with a talented group to provide innovative solutions for clients.
+ Lead capital projects encompassing various design requirements, including civil engineering, structural engineering, process piping, power distribution, automation controls, and more.
+ Direct projects and teams to ensure activities occur as planned and agreed upon by clients.
+ Develop and maintain a master project schedule from the Basis Of Design (BOD) through validation and handover.
+ Drive the BOD development for facility utility packages, customer equipment installations, and plant upgrades, while supporting the estimating process.
+ Manage the design and development of drawings and construction packages for facility builds.
+ Ensure accountability and management of engineering firms and construction contractors.
+ Prepare and present project updates to executive levels and steering committees.
+ Write site change requests and support User Requirements Specification (URS) development.
+ Manage all financial aspects for assigned projects.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED is required.
+ Seven years of experience in engineering and facility construction, preferably in pharmaceutical, packaging, or aseptic backgrounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is strongly preferred.
+ Twelve or more years of applicable experience may be considered equivalent to education.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead professional staff, evaluate and resolve technical challenges.
+ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and achieve results.
+ Excellent time management, prioritization, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
+ High degree of interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Work Environment
The role is on-site in Greenville, NC, at a large multipurpose pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, and packaging campus. Standard day shift hours are Monday through Friday. The environment involves large capital expenditure projects totaling $1.5 billion, supporting Project Engineers and Senior Project Managers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
