Are you our new project manager who wants to grow in a professional project environment within the hydropower industry?

We are now looking for a skilled project manager in control and auxiliary systems who can help realize our ambitious projects. Work location will be Fornebu (Oslo), Bergen, or Trondheim.

Main Responsibilities and Scope
As project manager in ABB Domestic Industry, your responsibilities include ensuring your team’s success and bringing out the best in everyone. As a leader, you communicate effectively with your colleagues and contribute positive energy to the group. You have strong commercial insight and enjoy having an overview, while also understanding technical challenges.

We believe that you have several years of experience as a project manager with solid technical understanding, preferably in areas such as Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Systems, and Digitalization.

Your opportunities will include:

Leading and coordinating automation projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and follow-upEnsuring projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, and quality requirementsCollaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure optimal solutionsDeveloping and implementing technical solutions to improve efficiency and reliability in our systemsPerforming risk assessments and implementing necessary actions to minimize riskProviding regular updates and reporting on project statusEvaluating change requests based on their impact on project scope, schedule, budget, and quality

We imagine you have:

Ability to understand and meet customer needs and expectationsAbility to motivate and lead a team and adapt to changesStrong presentation and negotiation skillsRelevant education in technical fields, automation, or engineeringProficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spokenStrong technical skills and the ability to understand complex systems
