Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager IV to lead risk management activities across our Major Projects (MP) portfolio. The focus of this role is to facilitate proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to support timely, risk-informed decision-making and drive corrective action planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate early risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and response planning sessions to support project planning.
Lead the development of templates, flowcharts, and execution strategies for project risk management.
Monitor progress of risk response actions and address emerging risks.
Establish and manage schedule risk models; assess the probability of achieving key milestones (e.g., In-Service Dates).
Collaborate with project teams to support risk-based decision-making and problem-solving.
Maintain and update the risk register; generate timely and accurate risk reports.
Conduct ongoing cost and schedule reviews/analyses, including the impact of project changes.
Lead or support constructability reviews to identify and mitigate execution risks.
Support contingency estimation and calibration processes for all projects.
Perform lessons learned reviews, trend analysis, and ensure insights are shared across teams.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of relevant project management or risk management experience, ideally in major capital projects or infrastructure environments.
Strong understanding of project risk management principles, tools, and techniques.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to engage cross-functional teams.
Proficient in risk modeling and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
