Vodafone is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced project manager who wants to contribute to the effective and successful execution of changes in a cross-functional organization and continually improve the maturity level of the change management area (programs/projects/agile) within Vodafone.
What will you do here?
Manage Business Improvement activities such as regular and/or complex projects, ensuring excellent customer and employee experience, operational efficiency, and low effort. Lead project and methodology development activities.Understand the strategic business direction and influence the project to reflect it in the project scope. Communicate project milestones and details effectively to all managerial levels and company portfolio bodies to ensure proper escalations and / or decisions.Lead and coordinate the project team to implement project goals and tasks. Share knowledge and provide methodical and functional support to other team members. Influence, develop, and motivate people and change behavior. Inspire and create the right working climate.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Draft and submit budget proposals including spending forecast, recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary and monitor spending regularly.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, track project milestones and deliverables. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.Ensure proper risk, issue, and change identification and its impact assessment (scope, budget, time), propose mitigation or contingency plans, and track them throughout the project lifecycle.Manage the change management process of assigned improvement activities.Execute effective communication, stakeholder management, and communication plans, including liaison with external parties, vendors, consultants, and members of the project team to ensure consistent planning and delivery in specific releases. Negotiate the feasibility of planned launch dates with respect to the current state in other impacted areas. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.Perform other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.What knowledge and skills do we expect?
University degree with a total of 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a similar positionExtensive experience in leading teams using project and agile methodologies, as well as experience in change management in a large organizationCertified PRINCE2, MSP, or PMI or similarExperience working in agile environmentsKnowledge of project management and agile supporting tools (e.g., CLARITY, JIRA) is preferredAdvanced English proficiencyPreferred Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fieldsAdvanced MS Office skillsStrong coordination, negotiation and presentation skills, conflict managementStrong stakeholder managementCommercial, financial, and technical acumenKnowledge of products, services, procedures, and business rules
