The role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Central Project Team at Howden UK&I. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and contribute significantly to the successful delivery of strategic change programmes that align with our business objectives.
You’ll be at the heart of transformation, leading integration projects, and ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across business integration initiatives.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.Produce and maintain key project documentation including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and RAID logs.Ensure alignment of project deliverables with business needs and strategic goals.Track project progress, manage budgets and timelines, and initiate corrective actions when needed.Champion the PMO framework, ensuring adherence to governance, quality standards, and reporting requirements.Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and managing expectations.Drive continuous improvement and proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues.What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Insurance or Financial Services sectors.Strong knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies.Demonstrated success in delivering business integration projects.Deep understanding of project lifecycle components and documentation.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a logical, solution-oriented mindset.Proficiency in MS Office.A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to drive change and deliver results.Familiarity with the insurance sector is a strong advantage.What do we offer in return?A career that you define.
