Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget while aligning with strategic business goals. Duties Include: * Lead and manage projects related to mergers and acquisitions from initiation through delivery * Develop and present comprehensive project plans, including scope, justification, success criteria, risk assessments, requirements, technical design, testing, documentation, training, and deployment * Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to align project goals with business priorities * Identify and document process gaps and recommend improvements * Maintain and prioritize demand management lists and work queues * Facilitate regular meetings with business and technical teams for updates, design reviews, and audits * Communicate project expectations clearly and consistently to all stakeholders * Track and report on project status, meeting outcomes, and follow-ups * Adjust project plans as needed to accommodate changes in scope or requirements * Assign responsibilities and manage resource allocation * Oversee daily project operations and ensure deliverables meet quality standards * Apply appropriate project methodologies and enforce standards * Prepare for quality assurance reviews and manage project risks * Ensure all project documentation is accurate, current, and properly stored * Monitor and manage project budgets, including forecasting and processing expenditures * Assess staffing needs and coordinate recruitment of additional resources when necessary
