Job Description
The Project Manager, reporting to the Project Manager, Team Lead acts as the liaison between Rockwell and the client through an entire project life-cycle from order acceptance through client sign-off. The position of Project Manager has responsibility for successfully planning, controlling and managing project deliverables. To ensure that customer satisfaction is met, they manage the details of overall project schedules, and budgets, as well as manages the efforts of team members and third party vendors.
This is a hybrid role that can be based out of any of our Canada locations.
Your Responsibilities:Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product and within budget constraintsProposal and estimate generation, client negotiations, contract review and sub-contractor communicationsUsually involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to clientsDiscuss the financial aspects of project management: forecasting, cost tracking, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accountingManage subcontracts including contract labor and fixed price deliverablesWork with customers for business implementation strategiesPrimary interface with customer, sales and other Rockwell Automation entities for assigned projectsManages execution of moderate to large scale projects within margin targetsManages and reports all financial aspects of assigned projectsThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degreeLegal authorization to work in Canada is required.
