Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our team specializing in the integration of complex design-build projects in diverse markets. This role involves managing projects related to material handling systems in sectors such as airports, parcel, food and beverage, and warehousing & distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or engineering, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary client interface, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.Manage project scheduling and prioritize tasks based on customer needs.Oversee the organization and execution of project tasks, ensuring quality and timeliness.Coordinate with teams to integrate mechanical and electrical design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.Travel to job sites as required, with trips averaging slightly more than one per month, typically lasting 1-2 nights.Adapt and learn unique processes and methodologies specific to our projects.Essential Skills4-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction or engineering.Proficiency in using Excel and general computer applications.Background in GC, Subcontractor, or Engineering.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage to-do lists effectively.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Bluebeam and AutoCAD.Engineering degree in any discipline or a degree in construction management.Social skills and an extroverted personality.Ability to think critically and independently complete tasks.Work Environment
The work environment is laid-back and informal, promoting a team atmosphere that is more social and less formal. The role involves occasional travel, with an average of slightly more than one trip per month, lasting 1-2 nights. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $48.00/hr.
