Join our dynamic team as a Construction Project Manager in Georgetown, D.C., where you will report daily to a stunning waterfront office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable general contractor specializing in historic preservation, rehabilitation, and various construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Provide top-level preconstruction consultation and project management services.Coordinate and manage all aspects of design-build projects, focusing on historic preservation and renovation.Utilize Procor and Excel for project management, scope definition, and tracking project progress.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to review drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager working on commercial construction projects locally.Proficiency in using Procor and Excel for project management.Extensive experience with design-build projects and historic preservation.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of construction scopes, drawings, and blueprints.Experience with projects involving schools, parks, libraries, and community centers.Work Environment
The successful candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time in the office, providing project management oversight, with the remaining 20% spent on-site at various project locations. The office is located in a beautiful waterfront setting, offering a pleasant and professional work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $52.88/hr.
