As the Project Manager, you will be the key client contact for assigned land development projects, ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion. Your expertise will help shape Calgary's evolving landscape by collaborating with clients, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing project execution through completionDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, while identifying new business opportunitiesEnsure project milestones and deliverables are met in alignment with client expectationsOversee and provide detailed engineering design input for complex projects, guiding and supporting project engineers and design teamsCoordinate with various disciplines, including geotechnical, environmental, transportation, and legal teamsLiaise with municipal authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and permitsEnsure project schedules and budgets remain on track, providing regular status updatesLead business development efforts, including writing and pricing proposals to secure new projects and clientsProvide mentorship and leadership to design and field staff, ensuring high-quality work and collaborationUphold health and safety policies across all project sites, reporting concerns to management and the Joint Health and Safety Committee
What your experience looks like
5 to 10 years of experience in land development, with a strong focus on residential, industrial, and commercial projectsProfessional Engineer (P.Eng) or Technologist designation (or eligibility for registration)Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to work under pressure with tactA valid driver's license and access to a vehicleProven ability to work independently and as part of a project teamStrong multitasking skills with a commitment to meeting deadlinesCustomer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and project success
