Objectives of this Role
Strategize, implement, and maintain project initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Integrate & Coordinate with Global facilities in ensuring the program timeline are achievedExperience in managing complex project with new technology – Facility building Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performanceOversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reachedManage budget and funding channels for the factory building, installation, commissioning and full productionSuccessfully manage the project workstreams to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required customer quality standards using Stage Gate methodology.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with project sponsor and, cross-functional teams, and local lab representatives to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plan, budget, and timing for the site relocation and commissioning of equipment.Manage project team optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate project activities across the project work streams Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendorsDevelop and manage budget for projects and be responsible for delivering against established business goals/objectivesWork with other project managers and key stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the departmentAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome / mitigate program risks, producing regular program reports for management and stakeholders Managing the program’s budget and timelines; Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements; Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies; Managing and utilizing resources across projects.Managing stakeholders’ communication; Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the general manager; and managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.Work Experience
The project manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques, including Stage Gate methodology;Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in project managementStrong leadership and management skills;Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; andThe ability to find innovative ways to resolve problemsUnderstanding of Spanish regulations with regards to (re) construction works, and Health & SafetyAbility to assess and verify risk assessments, oversee construction works, including contractor managementSkills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of international logistics, industrial construction, site relocationsAccustomed to working in a highly regulated environmentOutstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processesWorking knowledge of APQP principles would be helpful but not a requirementKey Interpersonal Competencies and Soft Skills
