Project Manager 3
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX. Location: Austin, TX (hybrid remote) Duties: Plan, manage, and oversee project activities to ensure successful implementation of the Budget Planning Tool project. Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, program teams, and IT teams. Manage project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and change requests. Track and report on project budgets and scope to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Oversee development of SDLC artifacts and ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications. Guide and facilitate the SDLC process in collaboration with project teams. Prepare concise reports, status updates, and documentation for stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders. Conduct regular project team meetings and appropriately escalate issues when necessary. Ensure alignment of project assignments with timelines through Agile methodology, including feature-driven sprints. Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities. Ability to summarize, escalate, and resolve complex issues. Skilled in Agile methodologies and best practices, including sprint management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience: 10+ years of experience managing large-scale project implementations across organizations. 10+ years of experience developing/managing project plans, documenting risks/issues, and preparing contingency plans. 10+ years of experience overseeing SDLC deliverables and guiding the development lifecycle. 10+ years of experience in stakeholder management and executive-level communications. 10+ years of experience preparing reports, status updates, and leading project meetings. 10+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, tracking development progress, and sprint management. 5 years of experience implementing Agile practices for one or more State of Texas agencies (preferred). PMP Certification (required – must be noted on resume; proof may be requested). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
