Project Manager 3
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX. Location: Austin, TX Duties: Manage and coordinate all activities related to the Invoice Tracking System replacement project. Plan, budget, oversee, and document all phases of the project lifecycle. Facilitate meetings between program and IT teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment. Track and manage project milestones, deliverables, change requests, and budgets. Identify, log, and manage project risks and issues with appropriate mitigation strategies. Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget. Prepare project status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders. Monitor project scope and ensure alignment with business goals. Support Agile sprint planning and execution, aligning feature delivery with business priorities. Maintain strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders across multiple departments. Skills: Proficient in managing large-scale implementations across enterprise environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Skilled in Agile methodology, including sprint planning and feature tracking. Excellent organizational and facilitation skills. Ability to prepare and present concise project updates and reports. Expertise in developing and guiding SDLC artifacts and processes. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Experience: 10+ years managing projects across large organizations, including planning, execution, and issue/risk tracking. 10+ years researching and analyzing complex problems to prepare solutions and reports. 10+ years overseeing SDLC processes, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements into technical specifications. 10+ years developing stakeholder relationships and leading cross-functional teams. 10+ years summarizing and escalating issues appropriately, conducting regular team meetings, and delivering weekly status reports. 8+ years applying Agile methodology and managing projects through feature-driven sprints. 5+ years implementing Agile best practices within one or more Texas state agencies (preferred). 5+ years of healthcare or public health project experience (preferred). PMP Certification (required). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
