Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing a multidisciplinary site team, and direct contact with client project manager.Liaising daily with the Client and EPCM Contractor on technical, legal, and contractual matters.Overseeing the development and implementation of the power plant project.Handling all contractual and commercial aspects of the project.Coordinating works to ensure compliance with contract specifications within the project schedule.Monitoring project progress and addressing any delays.Approving key deliverables and making technical and commercial decisions.Initiating contract changes and claims against contractors.

QualificationsExperience with power plant consultants, EPC/EPCM contractors, and gas turbine OEMs.Experience in tendering, contracts, and plant performance in the Middle East.Proven track record of site-based project execution.Broad project management knowledge.15+ years of relevant professional experience, including 10 years as a Project Manager.Consultancy experience as a Project Manager for 350 MW and above will be an added advantage.GCC/UAE experience is mandatory.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory; a Master's degree in the power sector is an advantage.PMP certification is an advantage.European nationality is mandatory.
