Project Manager – Municipal Engineering

As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Project Manager to join our Fredericton Infrastructure team.

The successful candidate will come with years of experience leading municipal projects. They will be a results driven project manager with the ability to lead and navigate both designers and clients through all stages of the project from concept to substantial completion, and be familiar with local codes and practices.  Preference will be given to those with contract administration expertise and have firsthand experience with construction contractors and their means and methods.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the success of projects as the project manager. Work with owners, other EXP staff of various disciplines to deliver successful projects on time from planning to completion. Ensure that projects comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations. Oversee quality assurance in both the design and construction phases of a project. Perform contract administration on construction projects. Maintain up to date project financials and billing using company provided software. Write proposals and when successful set projects following company policy.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred. Technology degree would be considered in combination with the right work experience. Experience in multidisciplinary design and construction preferred. P.Eng. or P. Tech designation (or eligibility). 10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the Municipal Engineering industry.  Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
