International’s Procurement team is seeking a dedicated Project Manager-Tariff and Trade to join our Lisle, IL office.

 

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical tariff and trade operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging yet supportive setting, driving compliance, efficiency, and process improvements while partnering across the organization.

Responsibilities Collaborate with Commodity Management Teams (CMTs) to efficiently manage supplier tariff impacts.Lead Tariff Committee MeetingsManage standardized workflow for tariff risks; schedule and establish Committee meeting agendasDocument, coordinate communication, archive for Committee Records of Decision to the broader Procurement organizationPlan and execute other tariff-related mitigation projectsSupport processes to ensure compliance to the USMCA Agreement.Manager standardized workflow for USMCA analysis under forward sourcing processes and the USMCA Escalation Process.Support development and execution of key source localization projects to improve compliance to Regional Value Content (RVC) requirements.Provide support to Corporate Trade Compliance and the USMCA Modeling Sub-Committee.Develop detailed project plans and perform critical path analysis using Microsoft Project, as neededLead cross-functional resolution of a wide range of complex problems in innovative ways, including issues where precedent may not existNetwork with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertiseCoordinate cross-functional risk and issues investigations and mitigationMay instruct, coach or provide informal guidance to colleagues with less experiencePresent project status to Senior Procurement management and Executive level audiencesIdentifies needed resources for cross functional project teams Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience

OR

At least 8 years of purchasing/procurement experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
