Project Manager, Product Transfer
Work Flexibility: Onsite

Stryker Instruments is hiring a Project Manager, Product Transfer. This role will support the delivery of high impact, cost transformative projects and requires working closely with stakeholders across Sourcing, Operations, and Division partners. This is an onsite position in Kalamazoo, MI.

What you will do:

Assume overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Project Manager is responsible to the project stakeholders for delivering a project’s objectives within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targetsLead PT implementation initiatives while tightly managing project spend on capital & expense budgetsResponsible for clear, objective and quantifiable measurement of Project/Program progress (incl. PTQ, slippage, float, risk rating, financials etc.)Work closely with Divisional and GQO Reps to drive successful project implementation. Actively engage with internal business partners to ensuring optimal outcomes for each projectParticipate in the selection, training and performance appraisal process of project resources. Lead shared Campus resources and deploy in line with program prioritiesResponsible for identifying, monitoring, and appropriately managing project risk and liaise with broader OI team on common PT issues and resolutionsLead team in complex or difficult situations, removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources and interacting with other functions to assist with issue resolution and streamlining of work processEstablishment of priorities, imparting a sense of urgency and importance to the team while following Project Management methodology in project executionProvide high quality leadership of Project Resources. Generate an engaging and positive environment. The Project Manager will be measured against milestone delivery and People performance throughout the Project lifetime

What you need:

Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline4+ years of experience in a technical and/or project management roleExcellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasksAbility express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
 

Preferred:

Demonstrated Project Management experience in Product Transfer and/or New Product Introduction in a regulated environmentExperience in an FDA regulated or regulated industryExperience of process/ product validations, statistical methods, GD&T, and Process mappingContinuous Improvement and Project / Process Improvement related experience

Travel Percentage: 10%
