Project Manager, PowerVS Worldwide Support and SRE Operations
**Introduction** PowerVS is an IBM Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure as a Service offering, with SRE Operations and Technical Support managed by IBM's Technology Lifecycle Services organization. Cloud SRE Operations and Support is a fast-paced environment, with a comprehensive and time sensitive roadmap involving many concurrent complex projects including new data center builds, data center expansions, feature/functionality deployment, code currency, security compliance, and more. Complex Project Management is an essential need in this business. **Your role and responsibilities** Responsible for leading complex project management and successful delivery of committed roadmap within IBM’s PowerVS Cloud SRE Operations organization requiring cross-functional team collaboration and coordination of multiple sub-projects, roadmap project deliverables, with on time completion. This will include an array of activities, including, but not limited to initializing and planning projects, developing project structure (schedules, deliverables, targets, owners, etc.), deliverable cordination, tracking and reporting project deliverable progress to Executives, managing risk, implementing mitigations, and applying project management processes and tools. Project management is accomplished by the application of proven methodologies and techniques with the goal of ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services and/or solutions which meet client and internal requirements and fulfill business commitments. The position will report directly into the IBM Executive Director for the PowerVS Cloud SRE Operations organization.
