Project Manager, Legal Software Professional Services, Asia
The role requires the person to work closely with other project team members, peer project managers and partner consulting teams. The person will provide consulting services to external clients, manage and lead projects to successful outcomes for clients and Thomson Reuters, and be the partner to clients by providing deep subject matter expertise and helping them adopt technological change.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Project Manager, Legal Software Professional Services, Asia, you will:
Owns the delivery of Legal Software project implementations for customers across Corporates and Legal Firms
Drives the successful delivery of global projects pertaining to the implementation of Thomson Reuters Legal Software products, namely HighQ, Contract Express and Legal Tracker.Establishes strong project governance practices, leading clients to implement, adopt and retain Thomson Reuters products.Can scope out a small/mid/large projects based on business requirements and achievable benefits.Can create Statement-of-Work and workplans. Can direct and guide the customer and teams to on-time and on-budget completion for both time and material and fixed fee projects.Manages portfolio level profitability to achieve financials KPIs.Provides subject matter leadership to clients and team.
Builds strong client relationships, leveraging those relationships to drive upsell and cross sellBrings strong functional and domain knowledge on Legal process transformation. Serves as a "trusted business advisor" to clients.Engages with General Counsels, lawyers and IT departments, leading conversations and guiding decisionsManages client relationships, especially at C-levels and Department Heads.Provides subject matter depth and expertise to team.Provides Leadership to a matrix team
Spends a portion of time managing team or providing guidance.Has autonomy to make exceptions that follow established guidelines.Responsible for cost of own team/project, and/or contributing to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure.Responsible for quality and timeliness of own work, as well as accountability for members of the team.Gives advice to team members and colleagues on functional matters.Broad decision making authority for routine issues.Provides key insights and formulates recommendations to the broader function.About You

Strong experience in project management, legal advisory, professional services or consulting experience in a client-facing roles.Strong experience in Legal Tech industry, implementing or managing technology-enabled transformations or process changes.Experience in adopting or implementing technology in legal function in Firms or Corporates, with a good understanding of how technology can bring efficiencies and key challenges involvedSpecialized Industry knowledge required:Deep experience in enterprise scale legal software implementation or product companiesDeep domain and functional expertise in Legal Operations, with strong understanding of legal process in Corporates and Legal Firms.Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues. Must have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that require quick decision for mitigation. fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.The position requires up to 25% travel.#LI-RZ1
