Project Manager, Healthcare Economics

Summary:

Lead and manage health economics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Collaborate with internal partners to define project requirements, develop project plans, and manage timelines and budgets. Identify and spearhead process improvements within specialty business in partnership with key functional areas. Support the day-to-day analytics and reporting functions needed for partners and act as a liaison with P&L leadership teams to understand cost position in the market.


Responsibilities: 

Lead and coordinate all aspects of health economics projects from initiation to completion. Collaborate with business partners, internal teams, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Establish and maintain competitive intelligence database for products; partner with P&L leadership teams to define scope, ensure appropriate resource allocation, and estimate ROI on projects. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout each project lifecycle. Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and client requirements. Communicate regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget status, and risk assessments. Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and best practices. Provide support to initiatives and/or data management activities for P&L teams as needed. 


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or related field required, master’s degree preferred 8 – 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a health care environment required  External/client-facing experience required Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions required Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or health economics field required Demonstrated understanding of health economics principles, methodologies, and data analysis techniques required Ability to identify and resolve project issues, manage risks, and adapt to changing circumstances required Proven project management experience required Strong communication, collaboration and operational effectiveness required Proactive, positive, and results oriented mid-level leader required Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives on aggressive timelines required
