Position Overview: Project Manager, Events and Sponsorships (contractor position)
Eurasia Group is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager, Events and Sponsorships to join our Events team. In this role, you will serve as a linchpin in the seamless execution of high-profile events and thought leadership initiatives for our corporate and government clients. You will manage a share of our global events portfolio—including conferences, roundtables, private dinners, virtual events, and thought-leadership products such as videos, podcasts, newsletters, and reports—ensuring timely, high-quality delivery and exceptional client experiences.
This contract position is based in London, with occasional travel to support events onsite in Europe (and the Middle East, as applicable), and has the potential to convert to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Project manage the end-to-end execution of complex, multi-format events and sponsorship deliverables, ensuring all milestones and client entitlements are met or exceeded.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining clear, consultative, and professional communication at all times.
+ Maintain up-to-date project documentation, track deliverables, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track using Salesforce, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office tools.
+ Provide onsite operational support at signature events as required.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, sales, programming, speaker recruitment, and operations to drive successful event outcomes.
+ Coordinate post-event reporting, internal and client debriefs, and incorporate feedback and lessons learned into process improvements for future events.
+ Contribute creative and analytical insights to continuously improve EG’s event products and client service offerings.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, events management and operations, or a related field.
+ Demonstrable track record of managing the logistics and execution of high-quality events, preferably with experience in both in-person and virtual formats.
+ High attention to detail, agility, drive, curiosity, consultative approach, strong analytical skills, creativity, and adaptability.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple concurrent projects (30+ events per year).
+ Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
+ Experience working with diverse, international, cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in Salesforce, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office.
+ Occasional travel required for onsite event support.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Proficiency in English is required. Experience with clients and stakeholders in Europe and the Middle East is an advantage but not required.
