Project Manager, AESC
Project Manager   Welcome to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC)! We are a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital offering expertise in seven specialties. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for motivated, positive, and compassionate individuals to join us. Overview: The Project Manager position partners with the Hospital Leadership Team to manage, implement, and maintain assigned projects. The ideal candidate is deadline-driven, highly organized, and committed to fostering a positive, high-quality culture in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include coordinating onsite and offsite marketing initiatives and supporting leadership activities. Compensation: + $65,000- $75,000, based on experience Duties and Responsibilities Project Management (~75%) In partnership with AESC Leadership Team, he/she will execute projects from concept to completion. Projects may be organically developed onsite or new rollouts from the corporate organization. + Project Planning: Defining project scope, setting objectives, creating timelines, and  developing project plans. + Resource Management: Allocating resources and managing their utilization effectively. + Risk Management: Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and  managing risks throughout the project lifecycle. + Stakeholder Management: Communicating with stakeholders to keep them informed and  manage expectations. + Team Leadership: Leading and motivating project teams to achieve project goals. + Task Coordination: Ensuring tasks are completed on time, by the right people, and to the  required quality. Will complete general tasks within scope and knowledge and partner with + SME for tasks outside of scope. + Change Management: Managing changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, while  minimizing disruption to the project. + Project Closure: Ensuring all project deliverables are completed, documented, and formally  closed. May provide maintenance support for completed projects. General Administrative (~10%) Manage and maintain hospital documents such as workflows, SOPs, and forms, with a regular review schedule. Provide administrative support to leadership during busy periods and assist with various operational tasks. + Coordinate employee engagement activities. + Manage procurement for designated projects. + Assist with agenda preparation and coordination of DVM and all-staff meetings. + Support HR-related projects as needed in conjunction with the HR Manager. Marketing Support (~10%) Lead and coordinate hospital marketing events, from planning through execution. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support marketing initiatives. + Coordinate staffing, equipment, and supplies for events (may require evenings/weekends). + Promote AESC services events through client interaction at promotional booths. + Capture photos and videos for marketing purposes, securing client authorization when  needed. + Coordinate marketing initiatives General Leadership (~5%) Participate in leadership meetings and activities to support a positive culture and team building. Provide coverage for absent leaders and assist in policy and procedure development. + Lead meetings as assigned. + Make decisions aligned with hospital values and goals Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + Associate’s degree + At least 2 years of full-time work experience in a leadership role (lead, supervisor, manager). + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and  Teams. + Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, and vendors. + Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. + Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment. + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions with strong oral and written  communication skills. + Strong organization, time management and attention to detail. + Must maintain a valid driver license and can safely operate a motor vehicle. + Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
