Our European HQ located at La Défense is looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) France.
As the Group PMO Lead at Chubb France, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our purpose by leading and supporting strategic programs. This critical leadership position is responsible for driving efficiency and maintaining high standards in project governance, reporting, and execution. You will leverage your deep experience in project and program management, financial tracking, stakeholder coordination, and enterprise-wide reporting to ensure successful delivery through complex matrix structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership in Program Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of group-level programs aligned with Chubb’s strategic goals.Best Practices Implementation: Define and embed project management best practices across the Group and support local market units in adopting these practices.Reporting Standards Development: Develop consistent reporting standards, including dashboards, KPIs, and executive summaries.Senior Leadership Updates: Provide regular updates to senior leaders on project status, risks, and benefits.Performance Tracking: Track performance metrics, financials, and resource usage across a diverse portfolio.Procurement and Compliance: Support procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.Influence and Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive delivery without direct authority.What We're Looking For:
Experience (essential): Prior experience in project or program management, with a proven track record in a PMO leadership role.Proven work experience in leading large and complex projects and transformation with evidence of change management experience in either a project or operations environmentInsurance project experience and knowledge of the general insurance business model, broker platforms and underwriting/claims operationsFormal qualifications and/or training in project management and business optimisation will be well regarded Qualifications: A recognized qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent) is favoured Languages : Native French and fluency in English is MandatoryOrganizational Skills: Experience working in complex, matrixed, and global organizations.Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Technical Proficiency: Experience with a variety of project management tools e.g. MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, ClarityCommunication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strategic Mindset: A strategic mindset with the ability to influence at all levels.Passion for Improvement: A passion for delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.Why Join Us?
