This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. The Project Management Director will manage a staff of Project Managers responsible for corporate office renovations throughout the Southeast US as far north as Washington, DC. **The role offers a hybrid schedule with an onsite presence in either Tampa or Jacksonville, FL.** **What you’ll do** Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Direct all phases of the process for clients including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution. Ensure that contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeouts are accurate, timely, and compliant. Develop new business growth and maintain existing business relationships. Maintain full responsibility for the financial performance of market, program, and client accounts. Identify project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans. Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to act while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal. Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department. Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job field. **What you’ll need** Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. + Experience with corporate office renovations including office interiors and building infrastructure. Experience as Owner's Rep for financial services client is beneficial. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
