Eaton’s **SCM Center of Excellence Santo Domingo** is currently seeking a Project Leader SCM CoE. **What you’ll do:** **Job Summary** This role fulfills a critical function within the SCM organization by supporting the successful delivery of strategic change, cost reduction, and driving the growth of our shared services through the implementation of SCM full scope and end-to-end processes across all business divisions and functions within the AMER region. It also involves working collaboratively with other SCM centers and AMER process owners across Eaton. The role includes managing all aspects of mapping SCM activities, including standardization, system implementations, and optimizations. \#LI-AR7 Reporting directly to the SCM Leader CoE in Santo Domingo, this key role will investigate and deliver SCM solutions and execute a diverse portfolio of projects in partnership with multiple functions across the AMER region **Job Summary** 1. Closely collaborate with Americas Region SCM teams on Material Management processes and possible process improvement 2. Accumulate best practices used on different locations and support integration to CoE standard 3. Lead the knowledge sharing, provide training to SCM colleagues 4. Create and review report templates to understand and measure current processes and make suggestions on standardization 5. Collect and map existing processes on AMER sites for improvement opportunities and track follow actions in CoE CI tracker 6. Take significant part and lead the integration of process to CoE standards 7. Document and visualize existing processes, calculate current average handling time and identify potenital efficiencies 8. Collect, and consolidate existing SOP-s and create Work Instructions as per AMER CoE standard 9. Identify and support utilization of digital tools available for SCM to maximize efficency (Eg. Daylight, Kinaxis RapidResponse, GPS Power App, OnePart and other systems, tools being used in AMER) 10. Support ongoing SCM Transformation projects with site support 11. Generate database for supplier collaboration in order to leverage transparent Supplier and stakeholder communication network 12. Regular and ad-hoc analysis and comparision of SAP data and provide 13. Other ad-hoc and regular CI related tasks upon request 14. Functionally supports all SCM CoE Subject Matter Experts Speciallists and make sure the team is working with same methods, ensure transparent and effective knowledge sharing among SMEs, follow the AMER- CoE document standards on SOPs, coordinate and manage these activities trought the 3 SCM teams - MP, OM, P2P **Qualifications:** **Education level required** + Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical), Business Administration / International Business, Finance, or similar fields **Years and area of experience required** + Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SCM related positions (planning, customer service, procurement) + Advanced knowledge in Material Planning/Purchasing/Order management processes with proven track record of productivity and cash savings **Technical knowledge** + Advanced PC skills (MS Office, SAP, Mapics, MFGPro, Oracle) + Advanced knowledge on : + Project Management/Continuous Improvement + Reporting tools + Fully Bilingual: English/Spanish **Soft skills:** + Strong ability to engage with operational leadership + Effective communication on different organizational levels + Analytical skills + Predictive analytics + Process improvement mindset + Competencies: Thinks and Acts Strategically, Gets Results Through Self and Others, Build Organizational Capability We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
