**Project Leader, Sustainable Living** _Work Mode: Hybrid_ **Location: ** Hybrid – Kohler, WI (Tues, Weds, Thurs onsite at HQ) **Opportunity** The Project Analyst - Sustainability & Waste position will play a crucial role in implementing and progressing sustainability initiatives across Kohler’s global operational footprint. You will be responsible for leading work that drives progress towards strategic plan objectives and Kohler’s long-term sustainability goals. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis skills to ensure the successful integration of sustainability principles into our business practices **Specific Responsibilities** + Waste Strategy & Program Management + Lead and align waste reduction and sustainability initiatives with overall business strategy. + Identify improvement opportunities and set measurable objectives to track progress. + Support integration of sustainability into operations and continuous improvement programs. + Data & Reporting + Improve Waste Inventory by identifying waste sources and developing an Inventory Management Plan for Waste. + Assist (as needed) with internal and external reporting requirements relating to waste and sustainability, including storytelling and submissions (e.g., EcoVadis). + Waste Project & Process Management + Support cross-functional teams on sustainability and waste-related, and GHG-related projects. + Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of objectives. + Design for Environment Program Leadership + Integrate DfE principles into Kohler’s Project Management Framework for capital projects. + Lead DfE implementation in ongoing capital projects. + Develop and deliver training for project managers and project leaders on DfE concepts and Capital Project environmental impacts. + Training & Education + Develop and deliver training programs and materials on sustainability topics. + Empower employees to adopt sustainable practices through education and support. + Collaborate with EHS to provide training and support on joint initiatives. + Communication & Documentation + Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support initiatives and decision-making. + Collaborate on internal and external presentations across various sustainability topics. + Continuous Improvement + Regularly evaluate programs for optimization opportunities that align with the business. + Balance sustainability goals with efficiency, cost, and feasibility + Stakeholder & Associate Engagement + Build relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of sustainability. + Activate and engage associates across business units (e.g., Kitchen & Bath, Hospitality). + Oversee engagement programs for sustainability/waste (e.g., awards, recognition). **Skills/Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field required, with a preference towards a master’s degree and/or certifications such as ISO 14001, B Corp, or Fair Trade + 1-2 years of experience in Project Management, w/ focus on sustainability, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible brands + Strong project management skills w/ ability to manage multiple initiatives at once. + Proficiency in data analysis and reporting + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite – especially PowerPoint and Excel + Strong written/verbal communicator + Self-driven/motivated entrepreneurial skills required **Preferred Skills, Education & Experience** + Completed Sustainability, ESG or Environment courses. + Experience with operations teams and continuous improvement frameworks (LEAN, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.) + Matrixed organization experience preferred **Travel** + Domestic travel required. + International travel may be required on a less frequent basis. + Approximately 10% annual travel is expected. \#LI-Hybrid \#LI-KS1 **_We will consider applicants requiring sponsorship for this opportunity._** _The salary range for this position is $73,400 - $92,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
