About the Role

The Project Lead, Analyst plays a critical role in leading and supporting strategic initiatives for AIA International Wealth (IW) Operations, with a primary focus on project delivery, operational improvement, automation, and data-driven enhancements. The incumbent will oversee end-to-end project life cycles, ensuring high standards of execution and alignment with business objectives. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, meticulous execution capabilities, and a continuous improvement orientation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of strategic and operational projects, with a focus on the establishment and optimization of processes for the new financial institution (FI) entity under IW.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, assess, and implement opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

2. End-to-End Project Delivery

• Develop, manage, and track project deliverables including business cases, user stories, requirements, test plans, UAT processes, deployment planning, and post-implementation support.

• Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and stakeholder alignment across all project phases.

3. Data Management

• Design and implement frameworks to support robust data governance, data quality, and integrity and enable accurate reporting, operational insights and efficiency

4. Business-as-Usual (BAU) Support

• Provide ongoing support for operational processes and systems related to IW’s business portfolio.

• Ensure issue resolution, system sustainability, and business continuity.

5. Ad-Hoc Assignment

• Provide analytical support and handle additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations.

• Participate in strategic reviews, audits, and reporting exercises as required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, Analytics, Forensics, or a related discipline. Professional Experience:Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial institutions (preferably in Insurance or High-Net-Worth [HNW] business domains).Proven track record of leading project initiatives and operational enhancements.Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and Agile delivery frameworks.High attention to detail, with the ability to execute accurately under pressure.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with data governance, reporting, and automation technologies is an advantage. Solution-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement ethos.Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Curious, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic environment.
