Job Description

WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?

Manage the support for all the process and activities of agile software development. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments. Managing high-impact, long duration engineering initiatives and projects using agile methodology; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality. Providing expertise in agile methods, procedures and technologies for the engineering team. Coordinating projects, tasks and operations for the agile engineering team. Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for agile engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.

Project Integrator – Investments Technology is a strategic integrator responsible for driving alignment across complex, interdependent initiatives within the Retail investment’s technology portfolio. This role ensures cohesive systems integration, identifies cross project dependencies, and works closely with delivery teams, architecture, and business stakeholders  during execution to manage risk. This individual will also support the design and execution of portfolio-level governance and reporting frameworks tailored to regulatory and operational needs within the Retail Investments Domain.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

1. Portfolio Integration & Dependency Management

Conduct detailed analysis of programs and projects within the portfolio to identify systems integration touchpoints and interdependencies.Conduct regular assessment of integration touchpoints and interdependencies to identify risks to projects deliverables and to the integration process.Develop and maintain integrated portfolio views and tools  (roadmaps, milestones, critical paths) to identify sequencing and potential risks across workstreams.Engage delivery leads and architects to assess technical impacts and coordinate sequencing of initiative execution.Enable, contribute, and maintain Agile delivery practices in accountabilities (ex: enforcement/verification of DoR and DoD)Assisting with application and adoption of AI/Gen AI enabled efficiencies across delivery squads in accountabilitiesCollaborating with partner teams to develop solution estimates and delivery schedules

2. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement

Build trusted relationships within Retail Investment Team and other functional stakeholders to ensure transparency of impacts and requirements.Act as a central integration point between project teams, enabling knowledge-sharing and issue resolution.Facilitate integration touchpoint meetings across multiple delivery squads  Serve as the point person between projects to prevent duplication, misalignment, or downstream rework.

3. Governance & Reporting

Assist in design and implementation of a scalable portfolio governance framework to drive oversight, escalations, and enable risk-based decision-making and cross-portfolio issue resolution.Monitor and report clear portfolio-level KPIs and cadence for status reporting and performance tracking.Create dashboards and presentations to communicate status, risks, and integration outcomes.Maintain integrated portfolio views including roadmaps, dependency maps, and critical path analysis tailored to investment domain.

4. Risk Mitigation & Change Impact

Proactively identify integration risks, gaps, or conflicts across initiatives.Align technology change delivery with operational readiness and business process changes.Support scenario planning and trade-off analysis to enable prioritization decisions.Identify points of potential disruption and support mitigation strategies.

Must haves:

7–10 years of experience in portfolio management, technology integration, or program delivery within financial services.Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in complex matrix environments.Experience with investment systems (e.g., portfolio management tools, trading platforms, data warehouses, client reporting engines).Expert in using JIRA, Confluence, Planview, AI toolsStrong grasp of architecture, data lineage, and application interconnectivity within wealth or asset management.Ability to develop cross-initiative dependency maps and lead integration reviews across concurrent delivery streams.Demonstrated ability to assess dependencies, align workstreams, and facilitate cross-team problem-solving.Proven experience designing and managing portfolio-level governance and reporting frameworks.Expertise in stakeholder engagement, influencing without authority, and translating technical complexity into business-aligned insights.PMP, PMI-PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certifications preferred.

Deep curiosity about how investment platforms evolve and integrate across front, middle, and back-office functions.Comfortable with both structured PMO rigor and agile delivery environments.Thought partner to leadership with an inclination for proactive problem-solving and scenario planning.Strategic systems thinker with an eye for detail and business /technology impacts.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing without authority.Adept at synthesizing information from multiple sources to create integrated views and drive action.Strong visual communication skills (roadmaps, dependency maps, heatmaps, etc.).
