Airswift is actively seeking a Project Information Management Lead III to support one of our key clients in the energy sector. This is a senior-level strategic leadership role ideal for professionals with extensive experience in information management, organizational change, and cross-functional global collaboration.

This position is primarily based in Houston, TX, with regular travel to Beaumont, TX (1–2 times per week).

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level strategic leadership over Information Management activities for a major capital project.

Lead change implementation efforts across a large, complex organization.

Oversee and align a growing, globally distributed team of 20–25+ professionals, including internal staff, contractors, and service providers.

Coordinate and collaborate across multiple time zones and remote teams.

Ensure consistent application of Information Management systems and standards.

Manage and ensure the effectiveness of Document Management Systems (DMS).

Serve as a primary stakeholder in data governance, documentation workflows, and system integration.

Candidate Requirements

Required:

Minimum 20 years of experience in information management or a related leadership role.

Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and implement large-scale organizational change.

Proven experience managing globally distributed, cross-disciplinary teams.

Strong knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to travel regularly within the U.S. (Houston to Beaumont).

Preferred:

Experience with ACANEX or comparable enterprise document/data management systems.

Background in the energy, oil and gas, or large industrial project sectors.

Additional Information

This is a senior leadership position with no expectation of day-to-day tactical execution.

Domestic travel only; international travel is not required.
