Project Finance Originator (f/m/d) Siemens Bank

We are actively involved in identifying, structuring, arranging, and lending to project finance transactions in Europe. Reporting to the Co-Heads of Project & Structured Finance for Europe, you will be based in Munich, a thriving city that offers a vibrant and inclusive work environment.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for structuring, arranging and transacting project finance opportunities, typically as part of a bank lead arranging group, or alternatively acquired on a primary or secondary syndication basis. In addition, you will support to identify and prosecute new markets and products as necessary and build and maintain relationships with clients. This will be your impact:Structuring, arranging, negotiating and executing highly sophisticated project- and corporate/hybrid debt structures, pricing and asset analysis, creating term sheets and negotiating finance documentation.Collaborating with colleagues from various teams including Debt Origination, Risk Management, Risk Rating, Legal.Building and nurturing our well-established external contact base of lead arranging banks, project sponsors and financial advisers to engage proactively in potential financing solutions.Connecting with the Siemens Vertical Markets Teams to support Siemens' sales activities and encouraging collaboration with colleagues in other SFS teams such as Financial Advisory, Equity and Commercial Finance.Leveraging your market knowledge and experience to contribute to the growth of our project and structured debt franchise.Demonstrating outstanding communication skills, business integrity, and professional judgment while being committed to your personal and career development.
This is how you´ll win us over:Significant knowledge of the structured and project-finance market (5 years +) from a debt perspective including expertise of, and an identifiable track-record of closing (as a lender) transactions within the Energy Transition, Transportation, Infrastructure, Infra-Corporate or Digital Infrastructure sectorsGraduate-level educational background, preference for a degree related to finance, banking or engineeringAn additional qualification would be viewed positively (e.g., MBA, CFA)Ability to take ownership of transaction execution from start to finishProven experience in a front-office / client facing project finance lending environment, strong structuring, and negotiation skills and deep understanding of market developments in the infrastructure and energy marketsAdvanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to independently develop comprehensive modelsYou are a committed professional demonstrating judgement and business integrity who possesses strong communication skills
