**Description** V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a **Project Estimator** to join our team! **Job Description:** + Develop ROM’s for multiple projects at a time. + Build estimates using a combination of skills within MS Excel and other potential cost estimating programs. + Validate 3 _rd_ Party/Contractor/Vendor Quotes/Proposals + Maintain/Build/Improve our past project estimate database, metrics, tools, processes. + Read/Evaluate/Perform take-offs on typical engineering deliverables, drawings, data, MTO’s etc. to develop estimate specs/quantities. + Read/Evaluate typical project schedules to confirm alignment with estimates. + Identify and communicate cost/schedule/project gaps/concerns as they arise, through correct channels. + Coordinate project estimate kick-offs/walk-downs/quote reviews. + Complete estimate final reviews with engineers and shop personnel. + Complete change order estimates/validations + Assist project controls with project budget (WBS) developments. + Assist project controls with procurement status updates. **Required Qualifications/Skills:** + Cost Management and Budgeting skills + Construction, Manufacturing and Project Estimating experience. + Strong communication skills + Familiar with NBL/NASA rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards. + Proficiency in professional scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, PWA, etc). + Excellent Oral and written technical communication skills. + Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory SCUBA certified or willingness to obtain one is preferred but not required. **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 5 years or more experience. **Benefits include the following:** + Healthcare coverage + Retirement plan + Life insurance, AD&D, and disability benefits + Wellness programs + Paid time off, including holidays + Learning and Development resources + Employee assistance resources + Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time and may be modified at the discretion of the company, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans. \#LI-DH1 Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
