- Serve as the Mk7 on-site infrastructure lead
- Capture digital and physical infrastructure requirements, develop project plans, and execute infrastructure projects in support of Mk7
- Liaison with local functional organizations (Planning, F&BO, Central Facilities, Security, IT/IS, SRP SI&C etc.) to ensure project success.
- Coordination between Mk7 and other resident Valley Forge Programs for Infrastructure requests and projects
- Partner with FBM SI&C functional organizations as needed
- Identify cost risks and develop opportunities, bringing them forward to the Program Manager and Leadership for review and integration into the Risk and Opportunities database.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans for risks.
- Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Program Manager.
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in King of Prussia, PA , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 7 years of professional experience
• Engineering project management
• Experience in working with external customers
• Experience in leading a team of engineers focused on a common goal
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Masters degree
• 9+ years of professional experience
• Missile and/or aerospace related education or experience
• Engineering background or experience leading an engineering team as a project lead/CAM
• Experience and desire to brief senior LM and Government leaders
• Experience with FBM processes and products
• Experience working with Central Functional organizations
• Fundamental understanding of 1LMX principles
• Experience with matrix organizations
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

In this Project Engineering role, you will serve as the Secure Information & Capabilities (SI&C) Mk7 Project / Activation lead. Duties include:
- Serve as the Mk7 on-site infrastructure lead
