You will be the Project Engineer for the F\-35 Line of Business Engineering \(LOBe\) organization assigned responsibility, authority, and accountability for execution of Engineering & Technology contracts achieving program cost, schedule, and performance targets\.
Primary focus will be sustainment contracts for the F\-35 air system and the ideal candidate will have engineering, program management, and Control Account Management \(CAM\)/Earned Value Management System \(EVMS\) knowledge and/or experience\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for:
• Managing integrated technical program execution at the contract level\.
• Managing contract scope, budget, and technical risks/opportunities across contracts within the F\-35 Line of Business Engineering Organization\.
• Facilitating development and management of the integrate master schedules \(IMS\) technical baseline\.
• Collaborating with Program Management, Chief Engineering, Program Management, Engineering Integrated Product Teams \(IPTs\), F\-35 leadership, and the Joint Program Office \(JPO\) to execute engineering contracts on time, on schedule, and on budget\.
• Developing and reporting metrics relative to E&T performance \(i\.e\. EVMS\) in support of line of business\.
• Candidate is expected to be a motivated self\-starter and to be able to work with limited supervision\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering/technical discipline or related experience\.
• 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\.
• Program management, project management, project engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, or similar experience\.
• Experience with contract management and program management principles; including scope, budget, risk, schedule management, and Earned Value Management System \(EMVS\) principles\.
• Secret security clearance\.
**Desired Skills:**
• F\-35 sustainment and maintenance knowledge/experience\.
• Control Account Manager \(CAM\) experience\.
• Risk/opportunity management experience\.
• Familiarity with integrated master schedules \(IMS\) and technical baselines\.
• Experience with F\-35 systems and tools \(PDM, JDL, LDM, Open Plan, COSMOS, Aerosource, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, etc\)\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
