Job DescriptionBe a representative of the pneumatic team and support the build vehicles at the Volvo Manufacturing plant in Dublin, VA.Resolve the queries or problems reported by Plant Manufacturing during the build.Contact the responsible engineers and seek technical support when required to fix the issues reported by the other cross-functional team.Lead and support the design activities of the sheet metal bracket.Lead and support in the CAD module documentation.Lead and Support in the line number documentation and correction.Release the design solutions in the PDM - Kola.Lead and support the PIL resolvent both in the project and maintenance.Lead and support in PCR management in the project.Review the progress and status with the group manager, technical lead, and module lead regularly.Discuss and lead the XF discussions as and when required.Accountable for the QDCF (Quality, Design, Cost, Feature), drive the solution in all the stages of implementation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Pneumatic schematics
• Strong knowledge in sheet metal bracket design
• Strong knowledge in GD&T
• Knowledge of braking systems and standards FMVSS 127
• Knowledge on Volvo tools and processes will be an advantage
• Experience in CREO, specifically in piping, assembly, part, and sheet metal modules
• Knowledge of pneumatic components, fittings, tubes, connectors, valves, installation, and routing
• Experience in vehicle packaging and installation
• Truck Environment & Product Knowledge
• Experience in handling suppliers
• Good communication and networking skills
• Problem solving skills
