Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your ability by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. You also have a clear understanding of the sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

Evaluation, selection, and application of standardized techniques and procedures for the proper execution of technical and engineering tasks, including the identification and analysis of technical issues in both field and remote service.

Provision of comprehensive technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning processes, ensuring compliance with relevant technical requirements and quality standards.

Assistance in the preparation and presentation of technical proposals and project bids to optimally meet the needs of customers and internal stakeholders.

Conducting design verifications using detailed checklists in accordance with applicable standards and engineering guidelines, as well as active collaboration with customers on-site to optimize processes and address identified weaknesses.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

•    You have completed electrical engineering or process engineering training (HTL, FH or TU), preferably in the field of energy/automation technology or computer science.

•    You have very good knowledge of the administration of Windows systems and network technology. Knowledge of IT or OT security is an advantage.

•    Fluent German skills, good English skills and a B driver's license are required.

•    A team-oriented, solution-oriented way of working as well as very good written and verbal communication skills

•    You attach great importance to cost-conscious thinking and acting.

•    You have a quick grasp and have the motivation to develop further.

•    The willingness to travel within Austria as well as to neighboring European countries is available (stays vary depending on the scope of the project) and comprises approx. 50%.

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 3.400 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
