A start up in the Bay Area is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in India. This company is revolutionizing how spaces understand and respond to people. Their wireless, battery-powered thermal sensors anonymously detect human presence and movement, enabling smarter buildings, workplaces, and care environments. Join them in shaping the future of spatial intelligence.
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the design, coordination, and hands-on installation of sensor-based systems. This role bridges engineering, construction, and IT, and is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of project execution.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to plan sensor layouts and system configurations.
- Interpret construction drawings and assess physical spaces (e.g., ceilings) for optimal sensor placement.
- Coordinate and perform on-site installations, including mounting sensors, configuring Wi-Fi, and verifying system functionality.
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to report progress and request support.
- Work with low voltage systems and basic networking infrastructure.
- Use measuring tools and to ensure precise and safe installations.
- Support remote system setup and troubleshooting as needed.
Pay range for this role is: $8 - $10 USD

Skills and Requirements
- Technical background in engineering, construction management, or low voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret layouts and blueprints.
- Experience with low voltage installations and networking (Wi-Fi setup, basic IT troubleshooting).
- Comfortable using hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-starter with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
