Job Description A start up in the Bay Area is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in India. This company is revolutionizing how spaces understand and respond to people. Their wireless, battery-powered thermal sensors anonymously detect human presence and movement, enabling smarter buildings, workplaces, and care environments. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the design, coordination, and hands-on installation of sensor-based systems. This role bridges engineering, construction, and IT, and is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of project execution. What You'll Do: - Collaborate with the design and sales teams to plan sensor layouts and system configurations. - Interpret construction drawings and assess physical spaces (e.g., ceilings) for optimal sensor placement. - Coordinate and perform on-site installations, including mounting sensors, configuring Wi-Fi, and verifying system functionality. - Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to report progress and request support. - Work with low voltage systems and basic networking infrastructure. - Use measuring tools and to ensure precise and safe installations. - Support remote system setup and troubleshooting as needed.
