Should handle finishing works in the assigned projects. Coordinates program activities design to manage high end floor finishes, joinery works, wall finishes, facades, structural glazing, wall claddings, interior works, etc. from conceptual stage through life cycle of project. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of contractors, subcontractors and consultants and resolves problems in area of finishings to ensure meeting of contractual commitments. Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers. To implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects. To carry out technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing work at all stages. Guide / Instruct Junior engineer / Supervisor to prepare required fields and reports pertaining to project. To check the quality of all the materials received on site and prepare quality reports, defects, if any. To check the stacking and storage of materials in various go downs and stores of the site with Neatness. To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to. To coordinate with different contractors and agencies to maintain and improve quality of construction work. To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and mock-ups. Supervise and guide subcontractors and labor teams on best practices and workmanship standards. Implement and monitor QA/QC checklists for each finishing activity. Conduct pre-checks and post-checks for surfaces, alignment, levels, joints, grout lines, textures, and finishes. Ensure proper surface preparation before paint, tiling, or waterproofing. Check material quality and ensure compliance with approved makes and brands. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals. Coordinate with:
• Structural and MEP teams to ensure service cutouts, conduit routing, and sleeves are in place before finishes.
• Architects and Interior Designers for detailed finish and material approvals.
• Procurement team for material availability and delivery schedules.
• Safety team to ensure compliance with HSE guidelines during finishing activities. Attend daily coordination meetings to resolve cross-functional issues on time. Maintain snag lists and ensure timely closure of punch points. Assist in final handover documentation and as-built records.
