Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage CapEx project execution, encompassing scope, scheduling, and budget oversight. You will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of equipment upgrades and provide essential engineering support for maintenance and process improvements. This role involves driving cross-functional problem-solving efforts with technical, maintenance, and production teams while integrating SMART Manufacturing tools into automated inspection systems to enhance data and process efficiency.
Responsibilities
Manage CapEx project execution, including scope, scheduling, and budget oversight.Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of equipment upgrades.Provide engineering support for maintenance and process improvements.Drive cross-functional problem-solving efforts with technical, maintenance, and production teams.Integrate SMART Manufacturing tools into automated inspection systems for enhanced data and process efficiency.Essential Skills
Proficiency in design and project management.Experience with CapEx and SMART Manufacturing.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Agricultural, Electromechanical, or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution.7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated success in leading and executing projects involving design, installation, and commissioning.Proven ability to manage external vendors and contractors across design, materials, installation, and support services.Additional Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience with manufacturing processes, especially in the metals or paper industries.Experience developing project business cases and writing project approval requests.Experience with reliability techniques.Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Davenport, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
