Project Engineer

Duration: 18+ months

Description

The primary driver for this opening is the relocation of the work previously done in Mexico and engaging in transformation efforts including everything from design, install of equipment, refurbishing old equipment, utilities, OEE, SAP integration, etc. Overarchingly we are looking for project managers to oversee these processes and execution with respect to timelines, established budgets, tweaks to design, interfacing with contractors, etc. Will work closely with design re: layout and conceptualization. Majority of work will focus on piping and electrical installations to support their primary product lines.

Provides engineering support for analysis, design, purchase, modification, installation, and start-up of production and facility equipment and systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tB.S. Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical). 3-10 years previous experience in High Speed Packaging Equipment OR Chemical Batch Processing Operations in Consumer Products

•\tWorking Knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software.

•\tWorking Knowledge of Motor Controls, Sensors, Basic Electrical Power Distribution, and PLC Capabilities.

•\tExcellent Organizational and Follow-up Skills.

•\tAbility to Manage Multiple Project Assignments Concurrently.

•\tProject Management Skills including Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, Purchasing, Design and Layout, and Selection/Supervision of Contractors.

•\tGood Communication and Presentation Skills.

•\tAble to Work Effectively in Team Environment. Committed to Continuous Learning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
