This organization is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join its dynamic team at their Saint Peter's facility, one of the company’s largest global manufacturing sites. This role is integral to the execution of capital projects totaling $25–$30 million annually over the next 3–5 years, driven by strategic initiatives including production relocation, equipment upgrades, and process transformation.
The Project Engineer will provide technical leadership and project management across a wide range of engineering activities, including equipment design and installation, utilities integration, and operational efficiency improvements. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage capital projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and design specifications.Provide engineering support for the analysis, design, procurement, modification, installation, and commissioning of production and facility equipment.Collaborate with design teams on layout and conceptual planning.Prepare Capital Asset Requests and cost estimates for new or modified equipment and systems.Select and oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Coordinate installation and startup activities with operations, vendors, and contractors.Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing operations and identifying opportunities for technological upgrades.Stay current with industry innovations and emerging technologies.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical).3–10 years of experience in high-speed packaging equipment or chemical batch processing within consumer products manufacturing.Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.Strong knowledge of motor controls, sensors, electrical power distribution, and PLC systems.Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and contractor management.Commitment to continuous learning and effective teamwork.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP integration and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) initiatives.Familiarity with packaging lines for products such as Lysol, Finish Tabs, Woolite, and Old English.Exposure to large-scale transformation projects in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
