About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer who can assist the project managers with facilitation of workshops, setting up SharePoint workspaces, developing business cases, training PMs or stakeholders, ensuring project team and stakeholder satisfaction and more.
The Project Excellence Team will consist of three roles & responsibility: Governance, Support and Control.

What You Will Do

Continue optimize and maintain the PMO SharePoint workspace for NPD process deployment and implementation, management of NPI project sites with all gate and deliverables integrated.Control and governance on the NPD process adherence and enhancement on the overall project execution.Drive for project excellence on NPD process improvement (pain point), NPD process training and Program Management Toolkit enhancement. Set up and maintain the database for all approved projects and keep the weekly and monthly reporting, which includes the project and program level status update, NPI launch plan for regional sales and global demand planning.Setup and facilitate the regular project review meetings with PMs and cross functional team lead across all countries. On this basis, to coordinate periodic reporting on projects status, which including the schedule, milestone, accomplishment, key issues and activities, as well as the budget, cost, and resources. Facilitate the Project Management Committee meeting & Senior Management Committee meeting, for project gate review and stakeholders approval, with MoM tracking and follow up from PM and project team.Check the Gate’s maturity and ensure all necessary deliverables are available to ensure the project readiness move to the next phase.Maintain Workfront database and conduct resource utilization analysis and timesheet report to keep the PMO and global R&D team alert in overall resource allocation, constrain or capacity release.Facilitates sharing of best practices through informal communities of action, PMO collaboration and/or formal training sessions to enable a consistent approach across all projects.Work as liaise of all PMs and as well a contact window to other cross function teams, such as GPLM, Engineering, and Operation to ensure all teams are aligned and stick to project excellence.Most importantly – Be a team player!

What You Need to Be Successful

BS in engineering or economics, or equivalent degree.With 5+ years experiences on project execution and deep understanding on NPD process management and improvement.A remarkable quick learner with open, optimistic attitude and minimal guidance.Analytical and pro-active decision making.Self-motivation and result driven.Excellent communication skills.Fluent in English speech and writing.Comfortable with fast-paced and multitasking environment.
