In this exciting role, you’ll support and contribute to capital projects that power innovation, elevate sustainability, and drive asset performance across our two manufacturing sites in Ballarat, VIC and Asquith, NSW.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our Regional Engineering team, you’ll:
Support a mix of large-scale and smaller capital projects — delivering them on time, on budget, and to the highest qualityDevelop innovative engineering solutions aligned with best practices and Mars’ Engineering Work Process (EWP)Own project budget management and ensure financial governanceEnsure safety, quality, and food safety (Q&FS) standards are met during project executionCollaborate across functions to secure resources, align stakeholders, and solve technical challengesDrive successful project start-ups without disrupting productionBe part of a supportive, high-performing team that values culture, learning and continuous improvementMinimal travel may be required to our other manufacturing facility in Asquith.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about engineering as they are about making a real difference:Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)3+ years’ experience in engineering roles, ideally within food or FMCG environments (but not essential)Strong project management skills with a focus on resultsEffective communicator and confident stakeholder managerA problem-solver with a growth mindset and a love for learningRecent graduates with learning agility are also encouraged to applyWhat can you expect from Mars?
